Sponsored by Arcadia University’s Department of 公共卫生 and the Montgomery County Department of 公共安全, the Emergency Medical 服务 (EMS) certification prepares students and community members to pursue advanced degrees, secure health care careers, and sit for the emergency medical (EMT) board examination.

The total cost for EMT program participants is $750. Classes are taught full-time in the summer:
Students can also enroll in an optional 4-credit, 2-week 公共卫生 course on the intersections between public health and emergency management. Students will pay the current rate for a 4-credit course if enrolled in this supplementary course.
